Whether looped around your neck or slipped through the handles of a tote, a Liberty scarf is a heroine of versatile styling. This silk scarf is printed with Ianthe – originally a wallpaper design by a French artist from 1902, Ianthe is a highly stylised example of Art Nouveau. First printed as a Liberty dress fabric in 1967, it was reworked in 2012 to emphasise the design’s rich, decorative nature. The design is printed in Italy onto an expertly-woven silk twill, using innovative technologies alongside specialist finishing techniques.
